COMMUNITY FUN
Bookmark and Share

What an awesome opportunity! Over the past several years I have enjoyed presenting, teaching, and entertaining using magic, sleight of hand, balloon sculpture and more in a variety of venues. Yesterday we traveled to Liberty, SC to share an evening with two groups of kids at a local church for their special event. (Balloon Night!) Sharing a message of encouragement and hope through magic and balloon sculptures really was a bang! (pun intended) But we couldn't have done it without the fantastic help of the volunteers and teachers.

Check it out!

What do you do for your community? Do you have a special interest? I'd love to hear about it!

INSPIRATION...
Bookmark and Share

I'm constantly searching for the next piece of inspiration. I saw these fantastic pear ornaments a year ago at the local Pottery Barn and knew I had to incorporate them somehow. These are amazing tree ornaments! I've also used them as placecard holders, and centerpieces mixed with taper candles. I wanted to do something less traditional this year. Mixing silver reindeer, gold bulbs, and the glass icicles I have collected, kept a sense of warmth and history. My friend Chris came over and helped me assemble it over the course of two days. What inspires you? Perhaps try a new recipe with pears. There are hundreds of inspiring recipes at gourmet.com.

My Christmas tree for 2008.

Merry Christmas!

It's official. The blog categories have been successfully installed!

On a somewhat random note, I've found that phpDesigner 2008 is a great development tool, and is far, far better than using cPanel on the hosting server.
